It Is Never Too Late!

“It is never too late,” means that God is able at anytime and always! What a phrase! Have you ever said to someone that you believe in the God of second chances? No matter what, God is always extending His grace to even the most undeserving and seemingly un-reachable. If you have air in your lungs, there is hope!

Hope makes it’s last stand where all seems lost! Hope! You know, we can live without a lot of stuff but we cannot live one day without hope; from no hope to the God of all hope! 

Do you know someone that is seemingly beyond reach? We all know someone like that but today, I want to remind myself and all who each this that God does not give up easily! He gave all that He had through Jesus Christ in order to extend hope, even to the most extreme situations.

I love to end many benedictions with Ephesians 3:20-21:  
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

This verse is so very meaningful. It means that God is able, no matter what! I believe that God can do anything but it also means that we need to bend to His Will. 

After all, we read that the source is God, through Christ! It says according to the power that is Christ in us! Power to change. Power to excel. Power to accomplish. Power to do! The source is found in God’s Will for our lives. 

He can do immeasurably more! Without limit and without the ability to measure is what we discover through Christ! This should shock us at our core! This should rattle our natural assumptions. This should blow our minds! God is not limited.

Yet, let us not forget that while there is purpose, the results are not for ourselves alone! It is for God’s glory that He acts on our behalf. It is not for temporal things. It is not for my gain. It is for God’s glory!

This means that it is not just for this side of heaven! It is for God’s Kingdom sake. It is without limit but for all who would receive it! 


How do you know if someone needs encouragement? Truitt Cathy, Founder of Chick-fil-A said, “If they are still breathing!”  Tell someone that you know a word of encouragement! Take time right now to remind yourself of the only hope we have can be found in Christ.
